Troubleshooting Mac Wireless Problems
The majority of issues with Mac connections can be resolved by running software update. Make sure you have at least Mac OS 10.3 or higher and that you have installed all the software updates for Mac OS X, AirPort Software, and all Mac OS X security updates.
WPA Authentication Failures
If your Mac has been previously configured for LEAP and your Hawk ID and Password has been saved on your keychain, you need to remove this password from your keychain. Open your hard drive and double click on Applications and then double click on the Utilities folder. Double click the Keychain Access program. Look for any entries called "UI Wireless". If you find one, click on it once to highlight it and click the delete button above. Once you have removed these entries, you should be able to log into UI Wireless.
Make sure the date and time is set correctly. If your computer has a dead battery and the computer loses the date and time information it will usually reset to sometime in the 1960's. Since our certificate is only valid through a certain set of dates, your computer will reject our server because the clock is set incorrectly.
