Cisco Secure Services Client Configuration for Non-UI Wireless Network

To configure the Cisco Secure Services Client to access a non-University of Iowa Wireless network:

1. Open up the Cisco Secure Services Client, select the Create Networks tab, and click the Create Network button.
   
   
   
   
2. In the Network Profile window type in the name of the network then click the Add button.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the appropriate network from the Access list or type in the appropriate SSID if it isn't broadcasted, then select the appropriate mode (Open, WEP, WPA, or WPA2) and add the security key, if necessary.
   
   
   Example: WEP-encrypted network
   
   
   Example: Open Network
   
   
4. The network Profile window will reappear.  Click OK.
   
   
   
   
5. Select the Manage Networks tab, select the network, then click the Connect button.
   
   
   
   
6. The Network Status will display Connected.
