Windows Administrator FAQ

Q. How can I get the AdminPak to run on Windows Vista?

A. Currently there is no specific version of the AdminPak tools (AD Users and Computers, etc.) available for Windows Vista. The version for Windows Server 2003 SP 1 will work with some modifications. For instructions on getting the adminpak to run, see the Windows Connected forum.

Note: The above instructions will have you create a script and indicate that it should be run with "elevated credentials." Even if you are logged into Vista as an Administrator, you will need to right-click on the script and select "Run As Administrator".
