Windows Vista Compatibility Center

Windows Vista is the biggest upgrade to the Windows operating system line in many years. Big upgrades always seemvista logo to bring with them headaches over incompatible software and hardware. Microsoft implemented and unprecedented system of public beta releases throughout the entire Vista development process to allow hardware and software vendors to make their productcs compatible with the new Windows OS. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that all hardware and software are going to be compatible out of the box with Windows Vista. This website is designed to inform The University of Iowa community on what hardware and software has been tested by ITS and found to work or not work. Please use the form to submit the results of your own tests or to request a test be performed.
