Macintosh Microsoft Word Save Error
Some users who are running Mac OS 10.4.x and either Norton AntiVirus 10.0 OR Symantec AntiVirus 10.0 for Mac have been receiving an error when saving Word documents to a network volume. When a document is saved directly to the network volume, they receive the following error message:
Resolution:
This issue appears to be resolved if the user is running the most current version of Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition for Mac, version 10.1.1.
To update to the new version, simply launch LiveUpdate from within the Symantec AntiVirus console and choose to Update Everything Now. You may need to run LiveUpdate through several times to fully update your software to version 10.1.1.
