Managed Clients
Note: For Symantec Endpoint Protection, a "managed" client refers to communication with the Symantec Endpoint Protection campus server, which is used for pushing updates to managed clients and reporting security incidences. "Managed" does not refer to being able to change pre-configured settings in the configured clients on the ITS Software Download page, such as the weekly system scan time.
To install a non-configured client, you must download the full CD version from the Software Download page and configure the client manually. ITS does only recommends this for customers who are experienced with configuring software packages.
