ITS has licensed several applications for use by University of Iowa students, faculty, and staff at no additional cost. Sign in to the ITS Software Download Site to download such applications as antivirus software, ftp software, wireless authentication software, and more.

The ITS Campus Software Program offers an opportunity for members of the University of Iowa community with common software needs to participate in the site licensed software and volume purchasing software programs. Software in Campus Computer Labs (ITCs)
Instructional Technology Centers (ITCs) provide students, faculty, and staff at the University of Iowa with campus-wide access to the University's academic computing resources. There are 26 ITCs across campus, comprising a network of over 1000 workstations available for use. Each ITC offers a wide variety of software applications. Software Available Online
The University of Iowa Virtual Desktop is a web-based system which allows you to access a wide variety of software applications that are actually installed on a remote computer. You can access Virtual Desktop from just about any computer, on or off campus, over the Internet. The applications available vary according to where you are accessing Virtual Desktop. Due to licensing agreements, some applications are only available when accessing Virtual Desktop through the University's on-campus network.
