&lt;p&gt;IOWADATA01, IOWADATA02, IOWADATA03, IOWADATA04, IOWADATA05, IOWADATA06, IOWADATA07, IOWADATA08 and IOWADATA09&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Cluster resources may be unavailable while data groups are moving between nodes.&amp;nbsp; No share should be offline for more than 10 minutes at a time.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is necessary to upgrade a network component for performance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Only a few dozen connections in the building are affected.&amp;nbsp; Wireless service in select areas will also be unavailable during the outage, which is scheduled for an hour but expected to take less time.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Services delivered from these servers will be off-line during the move.&amp;nbsp; ITS has reviewed the service and think we have either redundant services or the service is a low impact to campus for this time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ITS will take all the effort to ensure the minimal down time for the services.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Depending on the service in question, we believe:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;the service is covered by redundant systems in other locations&lt;/li&gt;

			        &lt;strong&gt;Details:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;p&gt;Intel 3945 Wireless cards are turning off about 20 minutes after associating with our wireless access points.&amp;nbsp; The&amp;nbsp;laptop needs to be rebooted before it can connect to the access point again.&amp;nbsp; The problem seems to be related to Intel's driver for this specific card and and the software that the access point uses.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ITS is working on the issue with the vendor of the access points.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The code upgrade for the Access Points was rolled back and Laptops with the 3945 Intel card are now staying connected to the wireless network.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;ITS has received several reports of customers having problems connecting to the Hawkmail (Microsoft Exchange) service.&amp;nbsp; Customers are recieving messages similar to &quot;Outlook Web Access cannot connect to Microsoft Exchange&quot; when trying to login.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ITS support staff have been contacted and are working on the problem.&lt;/p&gt;
