Remote Access (Dial-Up) Support Center
Overview
Remote Access is a dial-up Internet service intended to facilitate your off-campus access to Internet resources for academic or work-related purposes. This service can also work for campus residents who do not have a direct connection to the campus network. The service supports 56Kb connections and full Internet protocols for web browsing.
Use of the Remote Access service, as an extension of the Campus Network, is governed by the University Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources Policy. The following restrictions apply to the services:
- You must use your Hawk ID and you aren't permitted to let anyone else use this ID and password.
- You can use the service as many hours as needed, but the service isn't intended to provide dedicated access to the Internet. Those who abuse their accounts may have their eligibility removed or access blocked.
- Only one connection per Hawk ID is allowed at a time.
