Installing Remedy AR System User 6.3
System Requirements:
- Windows 2000, XP, or Vista
- Macintosh users should use Virtual Desktop or the web-based client
Remedy Client Installation Instructions:
- Uninstall previous version of Remedy before you install Remedy 6.3. To uninstall a previous version of Remedy, go to Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
- Download the Remedy client - Note: you will be prompted for your User name and password. You must enter your domain\HawkID in the User name field (click here for an example).
- Save the User63.exe file to your desktop (or some other location you can easily find it).
- After the download completes, double-click on User63.exe
to begin the installation.
Note: Windows Vista users will need to install Remedy in Compatibility mode. Click here for more information.
Although the installer may not immediately appear to be doing anything, it is configuring everything for you automatically.
- Go to the Start menu and run Remedy User under Action Request System.
