ITC Printing Billing Information
The ITC Printing service is a pay-after-you-print service. This allows you to print in the ITCs without depositing money into the ITC Printing system ahead of time. Your University Bill will be billed monthly for all printing you do during the month. Registered students receive free print credit each semester ($10.00 at the beginning of both the fall and spring semesters, $5.00 for summer semester). ITC Printing billing will only occur after the free print credit has been depleted.
To check your current print account balance, simply sign in to an ITC computer and your balance will display on the desktop. Or visit https://printing.its.uiowa.edu and sign in with your Hawk ID and password. Your current balance is listed in the Summary box near the top of the page.

A: Yes, registered students will continue to receive $10.00 at the beginning of both the fall and spring semesters, $5.00 for summer semester.
Q: When will I receive the free print credit?
A: Students registered for a term will receive free print credit ($10 for fall/spring, $5 for summer) approximately one week after the close (end of finals) of the preceding term. Student who do not register for classes until after this time will receive their credit within 1-2 days of completing registration. Only registered students receive the free print credit. If you have not received your print credit by the last day to register for the term, contact the ITS Help Desk at its-helpdesk@uiowa.edu or 319.384.HELP(4357) for assistance.
Q: What happens to my free print credit at the end of the semester?

Q: Is there a discount for duplex printing?
A: No, currently the system charges per print side (e.g. one duplex print = two print sides = $0.10 charge).
Q: How do I deposit money in my ITC Printing account?

Q: What should I do if the ITC Printing system incorrectly charged my account?
A: Should this happen, contact the ITS Help Desk at its-helpdesk@uiowa.edu or 319.384.HELP(4357) for assistance.
Q: I received the free print credit but my U-Bill was charged for printing during the first month of the term. I still have credit available, so why was I charged?
A: Print account deficits in excess of $1 are billed to your U-Bill at the end of every month. If you didn't register for classes before the end of the first month of the term, you had not yet received a credit before the first billing cycle of the term occurred. If you printed more than $1 during that time, the amount was charged to your U-Bill. Once you registered, the print credit was allocated to your account and covered any charges you incurred since the previous billing cycle.
