10/100BaseT Configuration - Mac OS X
By default, Macs are set to auto configure their Ethernet cards, so you do not need to configure anything. However, if you would like to check to make sure you are running at 100 MB, you can go into the Network Utility You can get to this using the following steps:
1. Open your hard drive:

2. Open the Applications folder:

3. Open the Utilities folder:

4. Launch the Network Utility

5. When the program launches it will display the configuration for the ethernet adapter and display the speed at which the interface is running.
