Locating Your IP Address
To locate your IP address in OS X, go to the Apple Menu and select System Preferences. Next click the Network button. You should see a screen similar to this.
Select the method in which you are connected to the internet. In this case it is AirPort. Next click the Configure button.
You will see your IP address listed at the top. In this case it is 128.255.102.161.
