Importing University Calendars with Entourage

1. To import the University holidays into Entourage, you will first need to download the following files:

These files should automatically unstuff and create files called holidays.rge and holidays2.rge.

To import the University Approved Board of Regents Calendars with Entourage, you will first need to download the approprirate calendar file listed below. These files should automatically unstuff and create files with the same name and the rge file extension

2. Next open Entourage 2004 and go to the File menu and then to Import.

3. Make sure ‘Import information from an Entourage archive’ is checked, then click the right arrow.

4. Navigate to the folder where you saved the rge file and click Import.

5. Entourage will then import the dates from the archive into your Entourage “Local calendar” This import will not delete any of the already existing events. Note: You will need to follow Steps 6-9 below to move the events from your Entourage local calendar to your Entourage Hawkmail server calendar. Note: In Entourage version 11.2.1 the import no longer goes directly to your Hawkmail calendar folder on the Hawkmail server, but rather to the ‘Folders on my Computer’.

6. In Entourage, click on the Calendar button.

7. Under ‘Calendar Views’, click on All Events.

8. On right hand panel, click on the Folder column and then select all the local calendar events

9. Go to menu Event | Move To | Choose Calendar and from the Move to Folder window select the Calendar under the Exchange account and then click on Move
