The ITS Security Office has seen increased instances of the MarketScore (also known as RelevantKnowledge) spyware program on the network. MarketScore is a spyware program that poses an extreme security risk and has special instructions for removal. 6/17/2005 - Special Pricing Now Available on HP Products

University of Iowa students, faculty and staff can now take advantage of special pricing on Hewlett-Packard products, including laptops, desktops, monitors and more. See the ITS Computer Demo Center for more information on vendor products and pricing or to place an order.

 

5/17/2005 - SSL Requirement for Blue



Beginning June 7, 2005, only SSL connections to "Blue" for checking mail will be allowed.  This means that unless you are connecting using SSL using an e-mail client, you will NOT be able to get your mail. Webmail is not affected by this change and will continue to work after June 7th. To turn on SSL in your email client please see:  http://www.its.uiowa.edu/cs/email/ssl.html.
