ITS Announces New Help Desk Hours and Second Location
On July 1, 2007, the ITS Help Desk is expanding to include additional telephone support hours and a second location.
New Help Desk Telephone Support Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8 AM – 10 PM
Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM
Saturday: 12 PM - 5 PM
Sunday: 6 PM - 10 PM
New Second Location at the Main Library
The Help Desk is also expanding to a second location for customers to stop in and receive hands-on support and consultation. A new location at the Main Library, within the ITC on the second floor, will be open according to Library hours, which is from 7:30 AM – 2:00 AM most days during the school year! See the Main Library North Entrance Hours for specific hours during the current term.
In addition to general assistance with computer issues and questions, the Main Library Help Desk administers the ITC Laptop Checkout service.
Services Available at the 2800 University Capitol Centre Location
The Help Desk will continue to provide walk-in support at the University Capitol Centre location Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. The ITS Demo Center is also located at the 2800 UCC Help Desk, and the ITS Software Repair Service will continue to be located at the 2800 UCC location.
Please Note: Customer computers can only be dropped off and picked up at the UCC Help Desk location, Monday - Friday between 8 AM - 5 PM. Computers cannot be dropped off or picked up at the Main Library Help Desk location.
Please contact the Help Desk at 384-HELP (4357) if you need to make special arrangements to drop off or pick up your computer outside of normal business hours.
