6/28/2007 - ITS Help Desk Expanding Hours & Adding 2nd Location

On July 1st, the ITS Help Desk is expanding to include additional telephone support hours and a second location. Telephone support will now be offered until 10 PM on most evenings. A second location within the ITC on the second floor of the Main Library will offer walk-up support whenever the Main Library is open. Click here for the new hours and more information.

The ITS Technology Survival Guide has been updated for 2007 to include the latest information about information technology services available to students, faculty, and staff at the University of Iowa. 6/1/2007 - Central Computing Data Center Outage

Between 6 a.m. and noon on Saturday, June 9, critical electrical repairs will be made to the central computing data center. All data center services will experience unavoidable outages at this time. The data center provides many technology services across campus, such as Exchange e-mail and calendaring, Blue webmail, ICON, most University web sites and web services, PeopleSoft HR, PeopleSoft Financials, HR Self Service, Library InfoHawk, SharePoint (MyTeam), File & Print, Directory Services, and White Pages.
