Elluminate Live/Collaborate - Planned Maintenance

On Tuesday, May 15th Elluminate Live! will be unavailable while the system is upgraded to version 11. The upgrade will begin at 11:00AM and will last until approximately 2:00 PM.
There are no major changes to the most common tools that exist in the current version of Elluminate. The interface has been greatly improved and streamlined. Because Elluminate, Inc., was purchased by Blackboard the name of this version has changed to Collaborate.
Collaborate can be accessed by using the same URL, https://globalcampus.uiowa.edu/, as well as the integration in ICON.
New features include:
- Redesigned user experience: access to common tools, audio/video combined, drag & drop content loading
- Improved keyboard navigation and screen reader support for instant messaging
- Single-click launch of web conference session from instant messaging session
- Dynamic whiteboard content reusable across the platform Shared content improvements (embedded HTML content in chat area/web tour)
